As much as we want to do it maybe once a week or once a month, it is really not possible. Since your pet, a dog for example, may poop more than once a day. One of my friends used to breed dogs and she would always make a point of picking up any feces as promptly as possible. I never realized what she meant when she said it was to prevent damage to the lawn, because I always thought that waste was a good fertilizer. Thanks for explaining that pet waste is actually toxic and harmful to lawns. We'll be sure to hire a removal service to clean the pet waste from our backyard.

I find it interesting to learn that pet waste contains a couple of disease-causing worms and bacteria, which would mean bad news especially for kids who play in the yard. My uncle got himself a new Beagle puppy and he's worried about how he'll be able to clean most of the pet's waste because he's busy taking care of his kid. I should share this with him so he'd consider hiring professional waste cleanup services.

I find it interesting how you mentioned that dog waste is may attract unwanted guests such as flies, worms and insects so the environment becomes dirty. My mother in law owns a dog and she never makes it a point to clean up after her dog's waste in her backyard. I totally agree that the place becomes unusable. I will be sure to share this information with her and convince her on hiring a poop pickup service so that he environment is clean and it does not attract unwanted insects.
