Should there be delays, we will contact you via email to re-negotiate our schedule. Our trucks are also equipped with a real time text feature. Crew leaders can text you at the day of service for minor delays. During the mowing service, we meticulously mow in different directions every visit. Our mower blades, for one, are always very sharp. We normally stock multiple blades and wheels just in case. You won't see us standing around. Crews will pickup toys or lawn debris they find and set them aside. The backyard gate will always be closed after each visit. Moreover, you will always receive comparison photos after every service. In the event that we ever did something wrong or damaged anything, expect us to come back and repair, replace, or just make your experience right. All of these things put together ensures a holistic approach to lawn care maintenance that puts your interests first. We even give FREE GUIDES for new homeowners. You will not see us taking shortcuts... ever!
Lawn Fertilization Program
Fertilization gives the extra bump to your new lawn. Our organic fertilization program uses natural and organic fertilizers to ensure deeper and stronger root growth. You will not see us spreading synthetic fertilizers all over the place. We want earthworms to propagate because the new lawn needs their castings. Your newly laid lawn will be fertilized at the beginning of the year in May, and then again once in every month of July, September, and November using time released organic fertilizers for optimum nutrient levels. Organic fertilizers do not only give your new lawn optimum macro and micro nutrients, they also provide the soil with more organic matter. Whenever we fertilize, we highly recommend to add our professionally brewed actively aerated compost tea (AACT) treatment. AACT not adds nutrients from fish hydrolysate, brown algae, and sorghum grass, but also adds beneficial microbes, bacteria, and nematodes to encourage the accelerated breakdown of organic matter for a healthier root growth. Each AACT batch is checked under a microscope up to 1200x magnification before application to give you the highest quality tea concentrate. Should the new lawn ever need more organic material midway into the year, we will let you know and make the necessary adjustments, using peat moss, coco fibers, sphagnum, lime, organic compost, dressings, compost tea, and more. The follow-ups will ensure deep and strong root growth to lessen the chances of weed infestation. We check the soil integrity, the overall topography, and use modern science to give your new lawn the nourishment it needs. Our program works best when bundled with a weekly lawn mowing service.
Lawn Core Aeration
We recommend to start every year in Spring with a core aeration service to alleviate soil compaction. This involves the removal of soil plugs or cores out of the lawn. These cores are removed mechanically by an aerator to relieve soil compaction and break thatch. Think of it as a regular facial for your lawn. Aerating opens up the pores of your lawn to allow air, nutrients, and water to penetrate deeply and encourage a deeper and stronger root system, making your newly laid lawn more hardy in the summer.
Pet Waste Removal
Leaving pet waste on your newly laid sod will only promote pests and unfavorable soil condition. Contrary to popular belief, your newly laid sod will NOT absorb the pet poop right away. The area has to be prepared and mixed with other organic biodegradable materials for the pet poop to break down and decompose. All of these will not happen on its own, let alone overnight. Pet waste removal service can be added to our mowing service for a small fee. You may ask us to come daily or weekly. Either way, we can help you scoop the poop with our Pooper Scooper service.
