Organic Lawn Fertilization Service
Organic Lawn Fertilization Program
Organic Lawn Fertilization (Organic Fertilizer FAQ) gives the extra bump to an already exceptional lawn mowing service. We can make your lawn beautiful, just as you dreamed it to be. Our organic fertilization program uses natural and organic fertilizers to ensure deep and strong root growth that lasts. You will not see us spreading synthetic fertilizers all over the lawn. We want earthworms because the lawn needs their castings. Your lawn will be fertilized at the beginning of the year and once in every month of March, May, July, September, and November using time released organic fertilizers. Do not worry, we are environmentally sensitive and are fully aware that over-fertilization is a problem in our industry. We provide all our clients with FREE periodic soil fertility test before any fertilization service. The soil fertility test is performed using professional chemical analysis methods. We use reactant and extractant solutions, barium sulphate, phosphate, nitrate, among other elements to filter and isolate nutrients found in the soil. On top of this, we also analyze your soil for microbial count up to 20 slides under the microscope. Microbes are important to the health of the lawn and plants as they metabolizes nutrients in a form that makes the nutrients available to plants lawn and plants. Microbes also form a symbiotic relationship with lawn and plants to facilitate the absorption of nutrients. This strengthens the resistance of grass and plants to diseases. Microbes improves soil structure to support lawn and plant growth, which reduces water loss and erosion by binding soil particles together. Performing both chemical and microbial analysis ensures we only lay fertilizers and recommend services the lawn and plants specifically needs.
Actively Aerated Compost Tea
Our fertilization process is truly unique in the industry. When everybody else uses what the large chemical companies recommend, our approach is based from research we have performed all over the world. Yes, we travel to other countries in search of best organic practices not found anywhere in the United States, or as a matter of fact, on the internet. Our method uses natural and organic fertilizers that are known to break down very slowly, totally avoiding lawn or plant burning and minimizing over-fertilization and nutrient runoffs. Our granular organic fertilizers are generally accompanied by our professionally brewed actively aerated compost tea (AACT) treatment. AACT adds the beneficial microbes - mobile and non-mobile bacteria, archaeas, nematodes, protozoas, ciliates, flagellates, testates, fungal hypheas, rotifers, among others - to encourage breakdown of organic matter. This virtually eliminates the need for mechanical dethatching as the soil infused AACT can naturally break down the thatch layers. Each AACT batch is checked with a microscope up to 1200x magnification to confirm the types of nematodes present, the proper ratio for mobile against non-mobile bacteria, the number of flagellates per slide, and the general microbial structures before delivery. Because AACT is in liquid form, it is immediately absorbed by the grass blades and plant leaves, and eventually the roots.
AACT is absolutely pet friendly, human friendly, and environmentally friendly. Since we are a 100% chemical-free company, there is absolutely no chance for mix ups when servicing your lawn. There is zero chance of mixing chemical herbicides and AACT because we absolutely do not use herbicides. And because active microbial count is extremely difficult to maintain in dehydrated form, AACT can not be mass produced. As of 2019, actively aerated compost tea can only be effectively made in relatively small batches. Effective balance as well is very crucial for propagation for grass and other plants.
Top Dressing and Lawn Core Aeration
If for instance after applying organic fertilizers and AACT treatment to your lawn, and it still needs more organic matter midway into the year, we will let you know and make the necessary adjustments to our top dressing service mix, using peat moss, coco fibers, sphagnum, lime, organic compost mix, dressings, among other methods to apply to your lawn. The top dressing is typically coupled with a lawn core aeration service. Think of the lawn core aeration as a regular facial for your lawn and the top dressing a facial cream. Lawn core aeration involves the removal of soil plugs or cores out of the soil. These cores are removed mechanically by an aerator to relieve soil compaction and break the thatch layer. Aerating opens up the pores of your lawn to allow air, nutrients, and water to penetrate deeply and encourage a deeper and stronger root system, making the lawn more hardy in drought. The top dressing incidentally replenishes the organic matter and nutrient the lawn requires to germinate. The improved germination of the grass incidentally also lessens the chances of weed infestation. When we use up-to date modern science to give your lawn the organic nourishment it needs, all the while inspecting the soil integrity and overall topography, our organic fertilization program works in ensuring your lawn gets looking its best!
