Our yard cleaning service includes professional labor to trim and remove excessive or dead foliage from hedges, shrubs, and trees up to 10' high from the ground. If we can safely reach it, we will trim it from the ground up. Note that we are not an arborist, but we have worked with a few of them in Austin for quite sometime now. And so, we do not climb trees. We also do not use ladders. What we use are pole saws from ground-level. We can reach from the ground most of the shrubs and trees found in Austin and new developments. Our service covers final shaping and cleanup of organic debris. We can even uproot small dead plants and replace them with new plants as part of the yard cleaning service. You simply need to provide the plants and give us a heads up before setting up your appointment. That way, we are all on the same page. |

Uprooting trailing and clumping bamboos can be added on every yard cleaning service for a nominal bamboo uprooting fee. This includes excavating the area up to 2 feet deep and 2 feet wide where the bamboos are located, and then removing and hauling away from the root ball up. You may want us to bring more soil, gravel, or new plants while we are at it. Included in our planting service are organic fertilization and spreading of actively aerated compost tea. And yes, all the plants we planted in 2021, 2022, and 2023 survived the winter snow and ice storms.

Yes. Trimming of unlimited amount of palm trees up to 10' high within your coverage area is part of our yard cleaning service. Removal and hauling of clippings and associated debris are also part of the service. What if I wanted to cut off my palm tree down to the ground, is this included in the yard cleaning service?
As a general rule, if the palm tree, or as a matter of fact any other plant or tree, is less than 10' high and can be safely reached from the ground, then this is included as part of the yard cleaning service. We could cut off any palm tree up to 10' high down to the ground to encourage new growth or in preparation for replanting to another location.

Could your crews remove dead plants and plant new replacement plants as part of the yard cleaning service?
Yes. This is included in the yard cleaning service. We could remove root balls up to 2' deep for any plant up to 10' high from the ground and replace with new plants up to 3 gallons at no additional labor charge. For plant replacements larger than 3 gallons, such as the ones in the photos, arrangements can be made during the quotation process for us to plant up to 20 gallons as part of the yard cleaning service for a nominal planting fee.

Could you remove a dead oleander tree or other similar trees?
If the dead oleander tree, or for this matter crepe myrtle or other similar varieties, can be safely cut down to the ground without using ladders, we can remove the root ball up to 2' deep for a nominal service fee.

Could your crew work with tree branches touching electric posts or utility lines?
No. Our yard cleaning crews are not equipped to work with any tree branches touching or are very near electric posts or utility lines. This has to be done by either the utility company or an arborist specializing in electrical utilities.
What is the limit on the amount of shrubs and hedges you can trim?
We offer unlimited shrub and hedge trimming within your property line or within the estimated coverage area. This includes trimming invasive vines, saplings, and more.

Would you climb trees or use a ladder to trim trees as part of the yard cleaning service?
Our yard cleaning crews do not climb trees nor use ladders. We can only trim trees, hedges, and shrubs up to 10' high. As a general rule, if a branch can be reached by our pole saw or pole pruner from the ground, we will trim it. Our clients, both commercial and residential, would typically use our yard cleaning service first to get all the pruning done from the ground before calling an arborist. It is just more efficient when done this way because it saves a lot of arborist labor time. Our equipment also very specifically targets on-ground tree work. Arborists, on the other hand, would be more focused on tree-top work. This division of work is where the significant price point difference between us and an arborist is found. Our sample work below shows you the actual real world scope of tree work that we can do. As you can see, we get called in first, then our client would call an arborist to finish up everything else that we can not reach.
