Lawn Care Service in South Austin
Our lawn care service in South Austin is comprehensive and covers a multitude of lawn services from lawn mowing, lawn aeration, lawn fertilization, lawn repair and sod installation. We are more than just mow, blow, and go. We focus specifically in giving you the best lawn service experience in Austin. For example, when we mow your lawn, we pass in different directions after every service to minimize the effects of soil compaction, a key driver of dead lawns. When we notice anything unusual on your lawn, we either knock at the door or contact you via email of what we can do to help you. Should we ever damage anything, we let you know and do our best to make it right. Our duty to you, we believe, is to make sure you only get the best quality service anybody in our company can provide. We are locally owned and operated. You will see us passing by from time to time just to check on you. At 50k, you are more than just a schedule, more than just another client to service, more than just a number, we absolutely will take the time to give you everything we can offer.
How Are We Different?
When you hire us for lawn mowing service, we give your home the kind of attention you want to get. We test the soil on all our recurring clients to see if we need to adjust the soil's pH make up, nutrients, or add more organic matter before we even start mowing. 24 hours before service, you will receive a notification via email. Should there be delays, we will contact you via email to re-negotiate our schedule. Our trucks are also equipped with a real time text feature. Crew leaders can text you at the day of service for minor delays. During the mowing service, we meticulously mow in different directions every visit. It is not unusual for our crews to come back again in the backyard to retouch a spot to everybody else looks perfectly fine but to us may probably need a little more TLC. Our mower blades, for one, are always very sharp. We normally stock multiple blades and wheels just in case there is a breakdown. You won't see us standing around. Crews will pickup toys or lawn debris they find and set them aside. Nobody will steal from you. We have proven this time and again with over 5,000 services provided in the Austin area. Before we leave, the backyard gate will always be closed. On top of this, you will always receive comparison photos after every service. In the event that we ever did something wrong or damaged anything, expect us to come back and repair, replace, or just make your experience right. All of these things put together ensures a holistic approach to lawn care maintenance that puts your interests first. We even give FREE GUIDES for new homeowners. Others may copy how we say things online... but you will soon realize that 50k do not take shortcuts... ever! We have grown a lot since 2015 and have finally figured the business. We keep things tight-knit, like the good old days.
Organic Lawn Fertilization Program
Our organic lawn fertilization program uses natural and organic fertilizers to ensure deep and strong root growth that lasts. You will not see us spreading synthetic fertilizers all over the place. We want earthworms to propagate because the lawn needs their castings. Castings are eventually turned into nitrogen, a core nutrient on any fertilizer! Your lawn will be fertilized at the beginning of the year in Spring sand at the end of the year in Fall using time released fertilizer granules and actively aerated compost tea mixtures. Our fertilization process gives your lawn the sufficient amount of macro and micro nutrients. Should the lawn ever need more organic material midway into the year, we will let you know and make the necessary adjustments, using sphagnum, lime, organic dressings, and more. The follow-ups will ensure deep and strong root growth to lessen the chances of weed infestation. We check the soil integrity, the overall topography, and use modern science to give your lawn the nourishment it needs. Our program works best when bundled with our weekly professional lawn mowing service.
Lawn Core Aeration
We typically recommend lawn core aeration service at the start of the year, in Spring, after the first frost, before fertilizing. Lawn core aeration involves the removal of soil plugs or cores out of the lawn. These cores are removed mechanically by an aerator to relieve soil compaction and break thatch. Think of it as a regular facial for your lawn. Aerating opens up the pores of your lawn to allow air, nutrients, and water to penetrate deeply and encourage a deeper and stronger root system, making the lawn more hardy in drought. These pores also help our actively aerated compost tea mix and time released organic fertilizers to penetrate much deeper into the grass roots.
